Limiting Beliefs

What is a limiting belief?

It’s any time you hear that voice in your head that tells you no.

“There’s not enough time.”

“There’s not enough money.”

“I’m not smart enough.”

“I’m not attractive enough.”

Here’s the funny thing about thoughts.  They are all as true as you allow them to be.  This can be intimidating and scary if your thoughts are limited and negative.  It can be empowering and inspiring when you realize you have the power to change your thoughts and therefore, change the world around you.

Ask yourself, where do you want to be one year from now?  Five years from now?  Ten years from now?  Write it down.

Now write down why you aren’t there yet.  Maybe you are scared of the risk.  Maybe you think you lack resources.  Maybe you think you don’t even know who you are at all.

Flip that page over.  Now write down, what would it be like if those things weren’t true.  What would it look like if it was easy?  Write it down.

What would it look like if it was easy?

Let that sink in.
